    Comment Ce gène a en effet la particularité d'être présent en grande quantité (dans chaque mitochondrie), ce qui est pratique lorsqu'il faut travailler sur de petits échantillons ou s'ils sont fortement dégradés et est, de plus, assez similaire chez les individus d'une même espèce, tout en montrant une forte variabilité interspécifique.
