- Comment The Commission makes these technical adjustments on the basis of a fixed deflator of 2 % a year. The results of the technical adjustments and the underlying economic forecasts are communicated to the Council and the European Parliament. No further technical adjustments are made in respect of the year concerned, either during the year or as ex-post corrections during subsequent years.
