—(1) Gach duine atá i gcimeád mileata anois no atá á choinneáil mar phríosúnach no cime mileata agus nár dhin aon bhínse a bhunuigh na húdaráis mhileata é do dhaora chun téarma príosúntachta no pian-tseirbhíse roimh rith an Achta so, féadfar fén Acht so é do choinneáil i gcimeád:—
—(1) Every person who is now detained in military custody or held as a military prisoner or captive and has not before the passing of this Act been sentenced to a term of imprisonment or penal servitude by any tribunal established by the military authorities, may be detained in custody under this, Act
3.—(1) Gach duine atá i gcimeád mileata anois no atá á choinneáil mar phríosúnach no cime mileata agus nár dhin aon bhínse a bhunuigh na húdaráis mhileata é do dhaora chun téarma príosúntachta no pian-tseirbhíse roimh rith an Achta so, féadfar fén Acht so é do choinneáil i gcimeád:—

(2) Aon achtacháin neamh-athghairmthe le n-a leasuítear na hachtacháin a cimeádtar beo leis an alt so no a dhineann difir dóibh, cime dfar beo ar an gcuma gcéanna iad, sa mhéid gur diombuan a ré, pe'ca a luaidhtear sa Sceideal a ghabhann leis an Acht so iad no ná luaidhtear.
(2) Any unreeled enactment amending or affecting the, enactment continued by this section shall, in so far as they are temporary in their duration, be continued in like manner, whether they are mentioned in the Schedule to this Act or not.
