Ciallaíonn "biotáille mhótair" aon bhiotáille arb é atá inti go hiomlán nó go páirteach olaí éadroma hidreacarbóin de réir bhrí alt 1 den Acht Airgid (Diúitéthe Custum) (Uimh. 4), 1931 (Uimh. 43 de 1931), agus atá oiriúnach chun í a úsáid mar bhreosla in inneall dócháin inmheánaigh.
"Motor spirit" means any spirit which consists wholly or partly of hydrocarbon light oils within the meaning of section 1 of the Finance (Customs Duties) (No. 4) Act, 1931 (No. 43 of 1931), and which is suitable for use as fuel in an internal combustion engine.
