- Nóta National authorities take measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of those dangerous products. Both measures ordered by national authorities and measures taken 'voluntarily' by producers and distributors are reported via the system.RAPEX also covers products posing risks to the health and safety of professional users and to other public interests protected by relevant EU legislation (e.g. environment and security). It does not cover food, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, which are covered by other mechanisms.
