    Comment Il y a deux sortes de réactions susceptibles de produire de l'énergie nucléaire: la fusion et la fission. Celle qui se produit dans les étoiles, la fusion, qualifiée de thermonucléaire parce que les réactions ne se développent qu'à des températures très élevées, n'est pas celle que l'homme sait encore maîtriser sur Terre malgré des recherches en ce sens.
