    Comment "Before the COVID-19 pandemic, antibody response was considered to be a synonym of B-cell response (humoral response). However, the type of antibody response produced by mRNA vaccines is different from that produced by other vaccines. They do not produce the same type of antibodies as natural infection (immune response mediated by T-cells and B-cells), but elicit more antibodies against the spike protein receptor-binding domain (RBD). Thus, in this case, antibody response and B-cell response (humoral response) can be considered to be two different types of immune response."
