    Comment L'Union européenne a introduit, le 1er novembre 2012, un système d'étiquetage pour aider les consommateurs à choisir de meilleurs pneumatiques. Ces derniers sont évalués selon trois critères mesurables: l'efficacité en carburant, l'adhérence sur sol mouillé et le bruit de roulement externe. Le bruit de roulement externe compte trois classes, représentées sur l'étiquette par une (pneu silencieux), deux (pneu moyennement bruyant) ou trois (pneu bruyant) ondes sonores.Sources:1.
