    Comment Tube contains resin that effectively disrupts tissue or cell samples and helps in the extraction of proteins and nucleic acids from different biological samples and reduces the viscosity of difficult tissue samples. Centrifugal force pushes the sample through a precisely manufactured orifice which produces shearing forces in the sample. Spin columns are often disposable to prevent cross contamination. Type of tube, resin and centrifugal force required depend on the sample type, volume, and the size or type of fragmentation needed.
