    Comment "The largest territorial subdivision unit in Greece. It is not self-government (i.e. it is not elected) but serves administrative decentralisation purposes. There are 7 decentralised administrations, each one comprising two or three regions. They are constituted as single units for decentralised state services and exercise general decisional responsibilities with regard to state matters in the regions concerned. They are run by a government-appointed general secretary, assisted by an advisory council drawn from the regional governors and the representatives of the municipalities.     Comment "Depuis l'entrée en vigueur, le 1er janvier 2011, de la loi sur la nouvelle architecture de l’autoadministration et de l’administration décentralisée (dite ""programme Kallikratis""), l'administration décentralisée est la plus grande subdivision territoriale de Grèce. Les administrations décentralisées sont constituées d’une, deux ou trois régions.
