- Comment "For the purposes of the Proposal for a Directive on the energy performance of buildings (recast), operational GHG emissions are defined more narrowly as greenhouse gas emissions associated with the energy consumption of ‘technical building systems’ during use and operation of a building. However, operational GHG emissions can also include emissions generated by travel and other activities involved in using or operating infrastructure, a project or product, in providing a service or in running a company or organisation.
