    unerwünschte Pflanze
    de
    undesired plant
    en
Definition any plant species which is detrimental to the quality of the product of a crop, by competition, cross-pollination, or any other means Reference "COM-EN, based on:Undesirable plant (15.6.2022). Law Insider."
Comment "Undesired plants is the more correct term for weeds. Barley is a weed in wheat, oats is a weed in barley, both are weeds in potatoes. Destroying ""parts of plants"" is pertinent in weed control where we wish to control a part of a weed e.g. control foliage with a non-systemic weed control method and allow the crop to subsequently outgrow it, with no further control needed."
