- Comment The Community support framework existed only until the 2000–2006 programming period: Regulation (EC) No 1260/1999 was repealed by Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, which in recital (45) states that:In order to address the need for simplification and decentralisation, programming and financial management should be carried out at the level of the operational programmes and priority axes alone; the Community support framework and the programme complement provided for in Regulation (EC) No 1260/1999 should be discontinued.
