Féadfaidh banchéile a mbeidh foraithne chríochnaitheach a mensa et thoro faighte aici leithroinnt bhuanailiúnais a iarraidh ar an gCúirt, le foriarratas, ar an gcoinníoll go dtabharfaidh sí fógra faoin iarratas sin don fhearchéile nó dá aturnae ocht lá ar a laghad sula ndéanfaidh sí an t-iarratas.

A wife who has obtained a final decree a mensa et thoro may apply to the Court by motion for an allotment of permanent alimony, provided that she shall eight days at least before making such application give notice thereof to the husband or his solicitor.
