In addition, most systems have gas storage facilities where system entry and exit is possible. In contrast with the traditionally used contract paths (point-to-point model), entry and exist capacities are generally defined as freely allocable or de-coupled. That means that gas brought into the system at any entry point can be shipped to any exit point within the system. Similarly, each exit point can be supplied from any entry point without any restrictions.
