    Comment Le terme flux tiré s'emploie par opposition au terme flux poussé. En flux tiré, c'est une demande réelle qui va déclencher une production qui sera tirée en aval; en flux poussé, la production se fait, à l'inverse, en poussant les produits dans la chaîne de fabrication pour arriver à constituer un stock qui puisse satisfaire à une éventuelle demande.
