    Comment "Post in LING, the Translation Service of the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU. A Quality Policy Coordinator (QPC) is in charge of overall quality in the Translation Service, and each language unit has a Quality Coordinator (QC). The Quality Coordinator's responsibilities include the following:- quality assurance, which includes giving guidance to linguists, assistants and local coordinators in their day-to-day work, providing terminology guidance, setting templates, using tools, setting up and implementing procedures, training, etc.;- quality control: despite the shift from quality control to quality assurance, quality control remains an important part of the job, not least in providing input for reflection on potential improvements;- support to Heads of Unit and the Translation Service in general; and- contacts with all relevant stakeholders inside and outside of LING.The post was previously known as Quality Controller, and before that Linguistic Adviser."
