- Comment Auch wenn die Begriffe Wald und Forst häufig synonym verwendet werden, gibt es einen grundsätzlichen Unterschied: Forst besteht aus einer Pflanzung (Aufforstung), im Wald gibt es stattdessen die unterschiedlichsten Phasen der Vegetationsentwicklung (Sukzession). Einen Wald kann man also nicht pflanzen, er kann nur aus sich selbst heraus wachsen.

It replaces the forestry strategy for the European Union adopted by the Council Resolution of 15 December 1998.
