    Comment L’index AWaRe repose sur une classification des antibiotiques en trois groupes : « Access », « Watch » et « Reserve ». Le groupe Access comporte des antibiotiques utilisés en première ou seconde intention pour le traitement de 21 pathologies les plus courantes ou les plus graves. Le groupe Watch correspond aux antibiotiques à utiliser pour des pathologies spécifiques, de façon contrôlée et le groupe Reserve comporte les antibiotiques de dernier recours.
