    Comment "„Das Forschungs- und Ausbildungsprogramm von Euratom läuft anders als andere Forschungsprogramme der EU über fünf (von 2014 bis 2018) statt sieben Jahre. Der Fokus des Programms liegt auf Innovationen im kerntechnischen Bereich, insbesondere auf Kernfusion, nuklearer Sicherheit und Strahlenschutz, einschließlich medizinischer Anwendungen. Es sind zwei Arten von Maßnahmen im Rahmen des Programms vorgesehen: indirekte und direkte. Indirekte Maßnahmen werden von europaweiten Projektgemeinschaften durchgeführt, zu denen KMU, große Unternehmen, Universitäten und Forschungszentren gehören.
