    complementary goods
    en
Definition 1) two or more goods are said to be complementary if an increase in quantity demanded of one accompanies an increase in the quality demanded of the other. 2) Goods so related that a change in the price of one good affects consumption of the other. For example, if the price of gasoline falls, demand for gasoline will probably rise, as will demand for motor oil. Motor oil and gasoline are complements. Reference ---
