However, bone cancer [ IATE:3546019 ] is a broader concept that comprises bone sarcomas and bony metastases (secondary bone cancers), i.e. cancers that have spread from another primary tumour into a bone.The four most common types of bone sarcoma are: osteosarcoma [ IATE:1538404 ], Ewing's sarcoma [ IATE:1516746 ], Chondrosarcoma [ IATE:1685741 ] and Spindle cell sarcoma. NB Osteosarcoma is not a a synonym of bone sarcoma, but only one type of it.
