Definition fluxing solution that causes the formation of low quantities of fumes Reference "COM-Terminology Coordination, based on: Peter Maaß, Peter Peißker. 'Handbook of Hot-dip Galvanization' (13.5.2022). Wiley-VCH 2011"
Comment "It is a technique where a fluxing solution is modified to generate less fumes during the 'fluxing' process. This is done by substituting one chemical in particular in the fluxing solution (ammonium chloride), the volatilisation of which leads to increased dust emissions during 'fluxing'. By using potassium chloride instead, much lower dust emissions are obtained"
