- Comment In Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 establishing a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products, 'inulin syrup' is defined more specifically as 'the immediate product obtained by hydrolysis of inulin or oligofructoses, containing in the dry state at least 10 % fructose in free form or as sucrose, and expressed as sugar/isoglucose equivalents'.
