    Comment In other words, it is income which is vital for farmers to have the stimulus to perform their activity and to keep the agricultural sector alive. The concept of viable income for farmers refers to one of the economic objectives of the ongoing CAP Reform (autumn 2019). "Viable" should be interpreted in light of the traditional income gap that characterises agriculture vis-à-vis other economic sectors.
