    Comment Die Giemsa-Lösung besteht aus einer Mischung der Farbstoffe Azur A-Eosinat, Azur B-Eosinat, Methylenblau-Eosinat und Methylenblauchlorid in Methylalkohol mit Glycerin als Stabilisator. Sie wird deshalb auch kurz als Azur-Eosin-Methylenblaulösung bezeichnet.
