    Comment 1) The disease is usually recognised by the rotting of fruits, blasting of flowers and the killing of young stems. A brown spot appears on the fruit and may enlarge until the whole fruit is decayed. 2) HOSTS: Stone fruits (peach, nectarine, cherry, plum), almond, and occasionally some pome fruits (apple and pear).
