    Comment Il est à noter que certaines sources font une différence entre la surpêche et la surexploitation, la surpêche étant alors la pression de pêche exercée sur un stock qui ne permet pas son exploitation maximale durable et à moyen terme, la surpêche entraîne la surexploitation du stock.
