Comment "- The Contracting Parties to the PEM Convention are the EU, the EFTA States, the Faroe Islands, the participants in the Barcelona Process, the participants in Stabilisation and Association Process, the Republic of Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine. - First agreed in 2012, the revised Convention on preferential rules of origin entered into force on 1 January 2025. However, to accommodate Contracting Parties that did not complete the necessary ratification process, a transitional period was established in which the parallel application of original and revised rules was allowed until 31 December 2025."
