La Commission a arrêté un règlement d'exemption par catégorie en faveur des consortiums entre compagnies maritimes concernant l'exploitation en commun de services de transports maritimes de ligne qui sont susceptibles de restreindre la concurrence à l'intérieur du marché commun et d'affecter le commerce entre États membres et qui relèveraient autrement de l'interdiction énoncée à l'article 81, paragraphe 1, du traité CE.
