    Comment Dieses Forum ist Teil der Arbeiten des Begleitausschusses Westbalkan (IATE 3531995). Es wird seit 2006 alle zwei Jahre veranstaltet und bietet die Möglichkeit zum Gedankenaustausch über die aktuelle Lage, die Bedürfnisse und die Zukunft der Zivilgesellschaft in dieser Region. Das Forum bringt Vertreter der westlichen Balkanstaaten, Mitglieder des Europäischen Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschusses (EWSA), Vertreter der nationalen Wirtschafts- und Sozialräte und vergleichbarer Einrichtungen, internationaler Gewerkschaften und Verbände (Arbeitgeber, Gewerkschaften, Landwirte, Verbraucher), Vertreter von NGO, der EU-Institutionen sowie des diplomatischen Corps an einen Tisch. Die Teilnehmer nehmen Schlussfolgerungen an, die an die einzelstaatlichen Regierungen und die europäischen Institutionen gerichtet sind.
