- Comment According to the FAO’s Guidelines for Soil Description ( http://www.fao.org/docrep/019/a0541e/a0541e.pdf [16.6.2017]), the characteristics of this texture are as follows: it can be rolled into a wire of about 3 mm in diameter, which can in turn be moulded into a ring of about 2–3 cm in diameter; it is cohesive, sticky and very grainy; it also gnashes between the teeth and has a moderately shiny to shiny surface after squeezing between the fingers.

Elle est cohérente, collante et très granuleuse, de surface modérément brillante à brillante sous la pression des doigts et grince entre les dents.
