Upon the recommendation of the Working Group on Transparency and Reporting, the 3rd Conference of State Parties mandated the ATT Secretariat to ‘prepare a guidance document for National Points of Contact describing the role and possible tasks for that function, including that of ensuring that mandatory ATT reporting is prepared and submitted in a timely and complete fashion’.
