    Comment Die Arbeit des IDOC und des Europäischen Amtes für Betrugsbekämpfung (OLAF) ergänzen einander: Beide Ämter führen unabhängige interne Untersuchungen innerhalb der Kommission durch.– Das OLAF befasst sich mit dem ernsten Verdacht des schwerwiegenden Fehlverhaltens im Rahmen der beruflichen Tätigkeit bei allen Organen, Einrichtungen und sonstigen Stellen der EU, einschließlich Fällen mit finanziellen Auswirkungen auf den EU-Haushalt.– Das IDOC befasst sich mit den übrigen Fällen von schwerwiegender Verfehlung im Rahmen der beruflichen Tätigkeit sowie mit Fällen, die den Ruf der Kommission beeinträchtigen, jedoch nur innerhalb der Kommission. Das OLAF übergibt Fälle, die mit Disziplinarmaßnahmen geahndet werden müssen, an das IDOC.
