Comment "1) According to Regulation (EC) No 166/2006 ‘release’ means any introduction of pollutants into the environment as a result of any human activity, whether deliberate or accidental, routine or non-routine, including spilling, emitting, discharging, injecting, disposing or dumping, or through sewer systems without final waste-water treatment;2) Air pollutant emissions are different from greenhouse gas emissions, which consist largely of water vapour, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O) and ozone (O3). Air pollutant emissions refer to a category of pollutants such as sulphurs, nitrate oxyides, particulate matters, etc. Not all air pollutant emissions are greenhouse gas emissions."
