Definition person with no identity documents or, in the case of a foreign national, no documents showing compliance with the laws of the host country Reference Council-EN
Comment "The term ""undocumented migrant"" is used in the United States to refer to ""irregular (im)migrants"", and is defined by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) as a non-national who enters or stays in a country without the appropriate documentation. However, some unauthorised migrants do possess documents such as passports and ID cards, so using the term ""undocumented"" to refer to such cases can be misleading..Reference: Council-EN, based on:1.
