    Comment Residence usually just means bodily presence as an inhabitant in a given place. The EU Treaties do not contain a general definition of residence. Various secondary legislation defines the concepts of either 'habitual residence' or 'normal residence'.     Comment Residence is not a uniform concept in EU law.
