- Comment Comme les biocarburants actuels proviennent principalement des filières de l'agroalimentaire, le terme "agrocarburant" IATE:2244025 est parfois utilisé comme synonyme (notamment pour éviter de laisser penser qu'ils proviennent de l'agriculture biologique, ce qui n'est pas le cas).Mais le terme "biocarburant" a une acception plus large que celui d'agrocarburant, dans la mesure où les biocarburants peuvent également provenir de la filière bois, de la revalorisation des déchets urbains (biogaz, par ex.), des algues, etc.Par ailleurs la différence qui existe entre biocombustible IATE:844651 et biocarburant est la même que celle qui existe entre "combustible" IATE:752087 et "carburant" IATE:783479 .
