    Comment "La convention a été modifiée le 15 décembre 1989 par l'Accord en matière de brevets communautaires (IATE:769911 ), qui y a intégré des protocoles concernant le règlement des litiges et une Cour d'appel commune (IATE:850540 ).Ces textes ne sont jamais entrés en vigueur car certains Etats membres ne les ont pas ratifiés.Les efforts en vue de doter l'Union d'un brevet communautaire ont repris en 2000 avec la présentation d'une proposition de règlement par la Commission.
