The marker is one element of the Creditor Reporting System (CRS) data base on aid activities which provides publically available data on where aid goes and what purposes and policies it supports. The marks range from G-2 (Principal: gender equality is the main objective) G-1 (Significant: gender equality is an important but secondary objective) to G-0 (Not targeted: the activity does not target gender equality).2. Specifically for humanitarian aid, the Commission applies its own humanitarian Gender-Age marker.

    Comment Dans le cadre de l’exercice annuel de notification de leurs apports d’aide au Comité d’aide au développement (CAD) de l’OCDE, il est demandé aux membres du CAD d’indiquer, pour chaque projet/programme, si celui-ci est orienté vers l’égalité des sexes comme objectif de la politique d’aide en s’appuyant sur un système de notation à trois valeurs (ex.: projet non orienté vers cet objectif, projet dont c'est un objectif significatif, projet dont c'est l'objectif principal). Le marqueur rend compte des intentions des donneurs au stade de la conception.
