The Central Mental Hospital is hereby designated as a designated custodial treatment centre for the purpose of section 28 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977.

Where, under order of the Court, any person resides in an institution or mental hospital for the care of the insane, one of the Inspectors of Mental Hospitals shall forward to the County Registrar once in each year, for the information of the Court, a report as to the care, treatment and general condition of such person.
