- Definition Organisation, die aus Erzeugern eines bestimmten Sektors besteht, von diesen Erzeugern kontrolliert wird, von einem Mitgliedstaat nach Artikel 152 der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 1308/2013 anerkannt wird und auf Initiative der Erzeuger zu folgenden Zwecken gebildet wurde: a) Anpassung der Erzeugung und des Absatzes der Erzeuger, die Mitglieder solcher Organisationen sind, an die Markterfordernisse oder b) gemeinsame Vermarktung von Waren, einschließlich der Vorbereitung für den Verkauf, der Zentralisierung des Verkaufs und der Lieferung an den Großhandel, oder c) Festlegung von gemeinsamen Regeln für die Produktinformation, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Ernte und die Verfügbarkeit, oder d) sonstige Tätigkeiten, die von Erzeugerorganisationen durchgeführt werden können, wie die Entwicklung von Geschäfts- und Marketingfähigkeiten sowie die Organisation und Förderung von Innovationsprozessen; oder die Verfolgung sonstiger in Artikel 152 der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 1308/2013 aufgeführten Ziele Reference "Verordnung (EU) Nr. 702/2014 zur Feststellung der Vereinbarkeit bestimmter Arten von Beihilfen im Agrar- und Forstsektor und in ländlichen Gebieten mit dem Binnenmarkt in Anwendung der Artikel 107 und 108 des Vertrags über die Arbeitsweise der Europäischen Union und Verordnung (EU) Nr. 1308/2013 über eine gemeinsame Marktorganisation für landwirtschaftliche Erzeugnisse"

- Definition organisation which is constituted and controlled by producers and recognised by a Member State under Article 152 of Regulation 1308/2013, and which was set up at the initiative of those producers for the purpose of:(a) adapting the production and output of producers who are members of such producer organisations to market requirements; or(b) jointly placing goods on the market, including the preparation for sale, centralisation of sales and supply to bulk buyers; or(c) establishing common rules on production information, with particular regard to harvesting and availability; or(d) other activities that may be carried out by producer organiations, such as the development of business and marketing skills and the organisation and facilitation of innovation processes;or pursuing other specific aims listed under Article 152 of Regulation 1308/2013 Reference "COM-Terminology Coordination, based on:Regulation (EU) No 702/2014 declaring certain categories of aid in the agricultural and forestry sectors and in rural areas compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 establishing a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products and repealing Council Regulations (EEC) No 922/72, (EEC) No 234/79, (EC) No 1037/2001 and (EC) No 1234/2007"
- Comment "A legally-constituted group of farmers and growers. Producer organisations assist in the distribution and marketing of products. They also promote a higher quality of products and encourage their members to adopt good environmental practices. Producer organisations have been legally encouraged since 2001 in the fruit and vegetable sector, and since 2011 in the milk sector. (see Milk Package).Since the 2013 reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, producer organisations are now encouraged in all sectors. Producer organisations can group themselves into associations of producer organisations and into inter-branch organisations.Not to be confused with 'producer group'. Producer organisations are those recognised under Regulation 1308/2013, while Member States are free to set the criteria for the recognition of producer groups."

Depuis la réforme de la PAC de 2013, les organisations de producteurs sont encouragées dans tous les secteurs afin de donner aux producteurs les moyens de renforcer leur position au sein de la chaîne agro-alimentaire en leur permettant de concentrer leur production et de promouvoir de meilleures pratiques agricoles. Elles peuvent se regrouper en associations d'organisations de producteurs ou en organisations interprofessionnelles.2. Ne pas confondre avec les groupements de producteurs qui ne répondent pas aux mêmes critères et ne disposent pas du même statut, mais qui peuvent constituer un stade préalable à la constitution d’organisations de producteurs."
