- Comment 1. L'article 3 point 15 de la directive 2008/98/CE définit la valorisation comme étant «toute opération dont le résultat principal est que des déchets servent à des fins utiles en remplaçant d'autres matières qui auraient été utilisées à une fin particulière, ou que des déchets soient préparés pour être utilisés à cette fin, dans l'usine ou dans l'ensemble de l'économie».2. L'annexe II de la directive 2008/98/CE donne une liste non-exhaustive des opérations de valorisation, qui comprend notamment: - la récupération ou régénération des solvants- le recyclage ou récupération des métaux, des composés métalliques ou d'autres matières inorganiques.
