D’athdhearbhaigh SABIC agus Rialtas Ríocht na hAraibe Sádaí a maíomh nár cheart éifeachtaí na n-allmhairí ó Ríocht na hAraibe Sádaí a charnadh leis na hallmhairí ó Stáit Aontaithe Mheiriceá mar (1) nach ndearnadh na hallmhairí ó Ríocht na hAraibe Sádaí a dhumpáil ar mhargadh an Aontais agus (2) go raibh treochtaí méideanna na n-allmhairí de thionscnamh Ríocht na hAraibe Sádaí éagsúil ó threochtaí i Stáit Aontaithe Mheiriceá, rud a léiríonn nach raibh na hallmhairí ó Ríocht na hAraibe Sádaí in iomaíocht leis na hallmhairí ó Stáit Aontaithe Mheiriceá, agus ós rud é go bhfuair an Coimisiún amach gur tráchtearra a bhí i MEG agus gur ar an bpraghas den chuid ba mhó a bhí an t-iomaíochas bunaithe.
SABIC and the GKSA reiterated their claim that the effects of the imports from the KSA should not be cumulated with the imports from the US as (1) the imports from the KSA were not dumped on the Union market and (2) that the trends of the imports volume and prices originating in the KSA and the US were different, which demonstrates that the imports from KSA did not compete with the imports from the US, also in view of the fact that the Commission found that the MEG was a commodity and that competition was largely based on price.
