I gcás ina measann Aonad Náisiúnta ETIAS an Bhallstáit atá freagrach gur amas bréige a bhí in amas ar leith a tionscnaíodh agus an t-iarratas á phróiseáil nó i gcás ina léirítear sa phróiseáil de láimh nach raibh aon fhorais le húdarú taistil a dhiúltú, ba cheart do a bheith in ann bratach a chur i gceangal leis an údarú taistil a eisíonn sé chun seiceálacha ag an teorainn a éascú trí fhaisnéis a sholáthar do na húdaráis teorann a bhaineann leis na fíoruithe a rinneadh agus chun iarmhairtí diúltacha na n-amas bréige ar thaistealaithe a theorannú.
Where the ETIAS National Unit of the Member State responsible considers that a specific hit triggered during the processing of the application constitutes a false hit or where the manual processing shows that there were no grounds for refusing a travel authorisation, it should be able to attach a flag to the travel authorisation it issues to facilitate border checks by providing border authorities with information related to the verifications that have been carried out and to limit the negative consequences of false hits on travellers.
