(5) In imeachtaí i leith ciona dá dtagraítear i bhfo-alt (1), más cuid den chruthúnas ar an gcion cruthúnas ar an luas ar a raibh duine (cibé acu an cúisí nó duine eile) ag tiomáint, ní ghlacfar gan chomhthacaíocht, mar chruthúnas ar an luas sin, le fianaise ó fhinné amháin ina luafaidh sé nó sí a thuairim nó a tuairim maidir leis an luas.
(5) In proceedings for an offence referred to in subsection (1), if proof of the offence involves proof of the speed at which a person (whether the accused or another person) was driving, the uncorroborated evidence of one witness stating his opinion as to that speed shall not be accepted as proof of that speed.
