The United Nations resolution of 25 September 2015 entitled ‘Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’ (the ‘2030 Agenda’) recognised the essential role of young people as change makers on the international scene and stated that young people need to be supported ‘to channel their infinite capacities for activism into the creation of a better world’.
