    Should the Board neglect after due notice to carry out such works the Corporation may carry out the same in a satisfactory manner at the expense of the Board.

    When the level of the waters in the Reservoir is below low water level the Corporation shall have the sole right to utilise for the said water supply all the water impounded subject to the right of the Board to withdraw compensation water, but the Corporation shall not withdraw more than twenty million gallons of water per day Provided always that should the Board so assent in writing previously it shall be lawful to the Corporation from time to time to withdraw water in excess of the quantities permitted by this agreement to such extent and for such period or periods as may be expressly provided in such assent PROVIDED further that it shall be lawful to the Board to refuse such assent without giving any reason.
