Stáirse/glúcósAn cion comhábhair sna hearraí (mar a chuirtear i láthair iad) ó thaobh stáirse de, a tháirgí díghrádúcháin, i.e. na polaiméirí glúcóis uile, agus an glúcós, arna chinneadh mar ghlúcós agus arna shloinneadh mar stáirse (ar bhonn ábhar tirim, ag a bhfuil íonacht 100 %; fachtóir an tiontaithe ó ghlúcós go stáirse: 0,9).Mar sin féin, i gcás ina ndearbhófar meascán de ghlúcós agus fruchtós a bheith ann (i cibé foirm) agus/nó go suífear sin a bheith sna hearraí, is é an méid glúcóis atá le háireamh sa ríomh thuas ná an méid glúcóis atá ann de bhreis ar an gcion fruchtóis atá sna hearraí.
Starch/glucoseThe content of the goods (as presented) in starch, its degradation products, i.e. all the polymers of glucose, and the glucose, determined as glucose and expressed as starch (on a dry matter basis, 100 % purity; factor for conversion of glucose to starch: 0,9).However, where a mixture of glucose and fructose is declared (in whatever form) and/or is found to be present in the goods, the amount of glucose to be included in the above calculation is that which is in excess of the fructose content of the goods.
