( a ) there is in force in relation to the flying of such aircraft by such person or such other person, a policy of insurance (in this Chapter of this Part of this Act referred to as an approved policy of insurance) issued by an approved aircraft insurer, which subject to any restrictions or conditions specified therein, insures the owner of such aircraft against all liability which he may incur in respect of loss or damage caused to persons or property on land or water in Saorstát Eireann by, or by any person in, or any article or person falling from, the aircraft while in flight, taking off, or landing;

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE TRANSFER TO THE MINISTER FOR FINANCE OF THE SHARES OF AER LINGUS, TEORANTA, AND AERLINTE EIREANN, TEORANTA, HELD BY AER RIANTA, TEORANTA, AND THE TRANSFER TO AERLINTE EIREANN, TEORANTA, OF CERTAIN OTHER SHARES AND DEBENTURE STOCK HELD BY AER RIANTA, TEORANTA, TO PROVIDE FOR A REDUCTION OF THE SHARE CAPITAL OF AER RIANTA, TEORANTA, TO ENABLE THE MINISTER FOR FINANCE TO TAKE UP SHARES OF AER LINGUS, TEORANTA, TO THE VALUE OF £700,000, TO PROVIDE FOR THE MAKING OF ADVANCES TO AND THE GUARANTEEING OF SUMS BORROWED BY AER LINGUS, TEORANTA, AND AER LINGUS EIREANN, TEORANTA, TO MAKE FURTHER AND OTHER PROVISION IN RELATION TO THE SAID COMPANIES AND TO PROVIDE FOR OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED WITH THE MATTERS AFORESAID.
(5) Na dliteanais agus na hoibleagáidí de chuid Aer Rianta faoi aon bhintiúir a d'eisigh Aer Rianta roimh thosach feidhme an Achta seo agus a mbeidh ráthaíocht faoi alt 75 den Acht um Aer-Loingseoireacht agus Aer-Iompar, 1936 , tugtha ina leith ag an Aire Airgeadais, beidh siad, ar an tosach feidhme sin, arna n-aistriú chun Aer Lingus.
(5) The liabilities and obligations of Aer Rianta under any debentures issued by Aer Rianta before the commencement of this Act and in relation to which the Minister for Finance has given a guarantee under section 75 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 , shall, upon such commencement, stand transferred to Aer Lingus.

—(1) Where under this Act or any order or regulation made thereunder an aircraft is to be detained, an officer of customs and excise shall, and where under this Act an aircraft may be detained, an officer of customs and excise may refuse to clear that aircraft outwards or to grant a transire to such aircraft.

—This Act may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport (Amendment) Act, 1942 , and the Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the Air Navigation and Transport Acts, 1936 and 1942.

( a ) persons who have arrived at the aerodrome in which the said licensed premises are situate as passengers in an aircraft engaged in an authorised air transport service and have, immediately before such arrival, travelled in such aircraft for a distance of not less than fifty miles measured by the ordinary flying route of such aircraft to the said aerodrome, and

( b ) persons who intend to travel from the said aerodrome as passengers in an aircraft engaged in an authorised air transport service and hold tickets entitling them to travel from the said aerodrome in such aircraft for a distance of not less than fifty miles measured by the ordinary flying route of such aircraft from the said aerodrome.

"specified body" means a body specified in the First Schedule (as amended by this Act) to The Principal Act.

In order to reduce channelled emissions to air of inorganic compounds other than channelled emissions to air of ammonia from the use of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) or selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) for the abatement of NOX emissions), channelled emissions to air of CO, NOX and SOX from the use of thermal treatment, and channelled emissions to air of NOX from process furnaces/heaters, BAT is to use one or a combination of the techniques given below.
